| Pipercross panel filter fitted... If you've ever tried changing the filter on the 2.0T you'll know it's a bit of sod to do but anyway it's fitted now and I have just given it a test drive. No noticeable difference in performance but the engine sounds better under reving - more induction noise I think. Whilst fitting the engine cover back on I managed to drop a screwdriver into the engine bay and it came to rest on the tray at the bottom of the engine. Only way to get it out was to take most of the screws off the engine tray and prize it away and retrieve the offending screwdriver with the bbq tongues! Lesson learnt about leaving tools balance on the engine!

| Re: Pipercross panel filter fitted... I had the pipercross filter, same that there is no more engine power, but you hear the induction sound more. a mechanic once found my tape measure wedged somewhere in the engine which I had lost a week or so before! ![]()

| Re: Pipercross panel filter fitted... Sounds similiar to my engine. I've dropped a few things down there, none to ever be seen again! |
