| Have noticed a couple of times that when I unlock the car, the red light in the driver's door stays on solid when I have got in the car and I'm driving. Still getting used to the key so I do tend to lock then unlock by accident which probably confuses the alarm system. Nothing in the manual mentions a constant light though ? Any ideas ? |

| It has happened to me once, at night, and it was quite distracting as I could see this bright red light at the edge of my vision. |

| The only time I noticed the LED on while driving was due to a fault in the central convenience unit. Might not be any harm to get the car scanned by someone with VAG Com.

| Happened to me once so far. Only noticed it when I started driving. Switching the ignition off and on again cured it. |

| Mine is constantly on for almost a week now, locked or unlocked. No fault recorded, though. Everything seems to work. Any ideas? Is there a way to test the LED via VAG-COM? |

| If it's an intermittant problem, I would guess there may be some water/ corrosion to the pins in the cenral convenience connector. If it is a continuous problem, my guess would be the central convenience unit & wiring loom will need replacing.
