Remaps: Actuals vs Claimed

What are people's experiences regarding actual vs claimed power/torque increases from remaps?

Revo state 255bhp and 285lbs torque.

Superchips Blufin state 237bhp and 249lbs (assumed standard 209lbs?).

Re: Remaps: Actuals vs Claimed

Expect around 230/240 from a stage 1 tune.

Stage 2 cars (remap, exhaust, intake) tend to make around 260bhp

Re: Remaps: Actuals vs Claimed

Easiest thing to do is to look on the JKM website at the rolling road day figures.

REVO stage 1 cars from memory got something like 225bhp and 275lb/ft

Re: Remaps: Actuals vs Claimed

The REVO torque is pretty close but the HP a little optimistic.

You may find that the OEM DV will fail, it's been covered a few times, with pictures, if you search.

The torque figures are very impressive. Considering a stock S3 is around 260lbs ft with circa 265 horses...

But then look of the actual remap gains on the S3 - 310+lb/ft anyone?!

And with 4wd meaning you can actually use it in the damp/wet
