| I have an intermittent tap tap tap tap sound coming from my driver footwell area - sounds like its coming from the engine area (well the other side of the well) but it seems to travel all the way up the dash as well - i first thought it was coming from the vents - but i have traced it now. Anyone got any ideas what the problem could be? By the way it only happens on idle intermitently! Ta ![]() |

| It's a sort of clicking noise, on mine it's mainly when the car has just been started for the first mile or so. I've had the SW update but to no avail.

| Yeah, it does sound like the Flapmotor problem for the air con as that is exactly how I tried to describe it to the dealer! Same as VRStu, had software updated and no real improvement! Ho Hum! Been told to wait as Skoda still working on a further fix for this....... Not holding my breath! Was also told that they were hoping Skoda would investigate a fix for the none cancelling indicators which some of us have as well!! Last edited by uncle bulgaria; 19-04-2007 at 07:41. |
