Trouble with blower not working i think?

Hi all,

New to the world of Skoda and also these forums so greetings. I picked up my brand new Octavia estate 2 tdi elegance 2 weeks ago. I noticed tonight that the blower doesnt seem to always work properly,

I dont fully understand the settings yet, as havent (cant be bothered) to read the manual, however tonight driving home i set the blower to full to demist the windscreen and it blew for about 5 minutes but then stopped and wouldnt blown no more. Then no matter what buttons you press or turn the dials it didn't blow, The all of a sudden about 5 minites later as the screen was misting up again it just started. Any ideas or should i take it to the dealers, woudl they be able to check if there were any issues

Well, you can take it the dealer but they'll tell you to read the manuals first, before bother to come to them

It has an auto feature that blows air as needed to maintain the temperature etc.

There is a clear screen function that will take care of this, however as said have a read of your manual as it is all explained in there.
