| Hi Guys, I have a Skoda Octavia MK2 L&K 1.9 TDI PD (105 BHP stock – ****ty power) (It’s called the Skoda LAURA L&K here in India – Its a direct import so even the problems are bound to be the same...) I've picked up this PD device from celoxperformance on my trip to the UK last month. It sounded like a bargain so I just picked it up... I’ve installed it in my car along with a Pipercross VENOM induction Kit (MOD for the MK1 – got it modified it to fit the MK2) and the car seems to have a surge of power. Who doesn’t like power – but after going through a lot of posts here – I just thought if someone has tried and tested it for longer than I have and is satisfied and a low cost product doesn’t blow my ECU or some sensor somewhere and I end up paying a bomb. Also: I'm looking for someone whose worked on his exaust - looking for a cat back exaust (maybe a magna flow) but I'm really stuck without options - Nothing seems to fit this car. Any other solid suggestions... |

| Briskodian | Re: Tuning plug n play Module Celox, that wasn't about £20-30? If you pop it open I think you will will find it is a resistor in a box. This is bad as it over fuels the engine by making it think it is always cold. HTH

| Re: Tuning plug n play Module If it does not have separate power leads to connect to the battery/fused supply it is as cheez' says just a resistor in a box, I would not run it long if I was you. If it has separate power leads then it what is known as a Digital Tuning box and should be OK - though not as good as a proper remap.

| Re: Tuning plug n play Module As far as the exhaust - you could always get a local repair shop to remove the Catalytic converter and bypass it with a length of pipe. Removing the backbox may be a bit too loud for you but does perk it up even further. A proper remap is the way to go - either by removing and sending your ECU to the UK or by using an AMD one-click which is pretty good but not as good as a remap in my experience. HTH Bas
