Default Unsmooth 2.0 TDI DSG

Got myself a 2006 Octavia TDI Sport with DSG, lovely car but seems to be less than smooth when decelerating from about 20 mph to a halt. Any thoughts?

Does the gearbox give small jerks as it changes down with the decreasing speed?

Are we talking about a quick 20 down to 0 or a slow 20 down to 0?

Our A5 Elegance 140 bhp dsg also is uneven running at 28/30 mph.It feels like as if your foot is slipping on the gas pedal.

Usually when decelerating slowly. I have watched the gear change on the dash and it doesn't always seem to be when its changing down. I have to vary the pressure on the brake pedal to try and keep it smooth.
