| The 1.9 TDi will have FSIII type brakes wont it?? Means you have to swap the hubs and bearings over to get a bigger disc on there.

If thats the case then I may have to go for some better brakes pads......had a nasty experience of virtually no braking last night ......and didn't like it that much........pedal on the floor and even the abs didn't work ![]() ![]()

Pretty certain the brakes are fading VERY quickly so a new set of "better" pads may be the answer

| Just added to my post above...But brake fade is a good guess ........so without spending £100s on a brakes upgrade any pointers on a reasonable set of brake pads for now. TIA

| Something like Pagid, Ferrodo, mintex i'd say. Stay away from EBC in my personal view.

| Just had a thought and went and checked the pad thickness ......loads left on them so I may have to have a search around for a supplier ...(we don't have a decent tuner/supply shop) around here. Thanks Ross

| whats the upgrade route for vRS brakes then? think im going to try some better pads first but i can get the standard pads to fade far to easily, which isn't nice when your flying towards a corner and the only thing slowing you down is engine braking
