| Am I understanding this correctly? As standard the vRS does NOT come with the little display in the middle of your instrument cluster that tells you when your doors are open/what the trip computer is up to? Also, what do you get with the Jumbo/Rear electric windows package? The skoda webiste sure aint clear on these things!! |

| It does come with an LCD display for the trip computer, but the maxidot upgrade is a larger, flasher version that has other facilities. Since it is only £90, I would recommend it. The comfort pack you refer to gives you dual digital climate control as well as the jumbo box and rear electric windows. The jumbo box is a arm rest really, as the jumbo bit is only big enough strorage for a single can of coke.

| Both those options are essential imho. Maxidot is a cleverer version of the standard trip computer but with a lot more functionality and the Dual Zone Climate/Jumbo Box/Electric Windows option just finishes the interior off nicely

| I saved 300 or so notes though by choosing red and being different to all the blue Skuds I see around. Steve

| I would agree just about everyone gets the electric pack which includes the jumbo box, dual zone climate control and 'leccy rear windows, likewise the 18's. I got the maxi dot by default and though I wasn't fussed at the time, am now glad I did |

| My car has not one single option! It's even a solid colour. At the end of the day I wanted a 200bhp family car for minimal outlay (£15700). It's air conditioned, has alloys, I don't care if the kids have to wind their windows up and down and it still has a trip computer. Most importantly I still get the same engine. I'll probably keep it 4 years and 120k miles so the options, imho wouldn't really do anything to firm up the residuals. Just a different viewpoint. Dan |

| I am without the Jumbo to But mine was pre-built and had the all important (for me) Xenons and 18's and was in Race Blue, I paid well under £17K from a Skoda Stealer last April If I was building it up to order I would definatley have Maxidot and reversing sensors (+ the afore mentioned 18's and xenons) and would only have the jumbo purely for the armrest, dual zone is of no interest (or much use IMHO, had it on a few hire cars) and most of the time it's just me in the car |

| I'm aiming for; 1. Xenons 2. Cruise control 3. Rear parking sensor 4. Heated seats 5. 18s - perhaps I'm not getting the Climate/Jumbo as IMHO the jumbo box gets in the way of my left elbow when changing gear/using the handbrake and I am undecided on the 18s. The factory 18s are the same 'Zenith' style as the standard 17s so you don't really notice them too much and £450 for these is a bit costly as I reckon the larger wheels/tyres can only cost max £200 over the 17s - £250 profit to Skoda. My dealer has put the accessory 'B14' style 18s on two of his demos and they look FANTASTIC; there is a benefit of going with the B14 as well. I will be able to get my dealer to fit the tyres I want and not the noisy Contis that come out of the factory. Finally, I'm aiming for Corrida Red. |
