Default What do they mean?

Hi all.
on the speedo in kilometers per hour there are two little red arrows

between 20/40 and 40/60 kph. anyone know what they mean??

these 'arrows' are on the dial permanently...cruise control icon only comes on when activated.

what i means was, at below a certain speed you cannot engage the cruise, i think they are the markers so you can quickly see if it can be 'set'

I think they might be to do with european speed limits in town/rural areas?

30kph and 50kph - urban limits in kmh ie most villages are 50kph limit and some are 30

Sounds right, my wife is dutch and her mum has a golf with the same markings and thats the conclusion i came to!
