Got up this morning to put new brambles in the stick insects home and found 3 babies running around their home like linford christie, the eggs are slowly hatching now and its great to see some babies as the older ones are nearing the end of their lives.

I'm curious. Given the natural ability of stick insects to, er, look like bits of stick, how do you manage not to throw the babies out with the bathwater?

have to be extra careful when you bath them I guess

no probs, they have tons of eggs each week, just a 50% chance of them hatching. sinister has already told me to think about giving them a bigger home if im gonna keep most of them

one of those plastic aquarium cages, they need more height than length as they like to hang a lot. i might even have a go at building one in the summer.

idea... kick out the house owner... so i can move in too BUT the main plan would be too use the conservtory as a mini rain forest thingy, they can roam free lots of space. AND then we can get me lots of flutterbies too live there too. ALTHOUGH foot is put down on spiders!! (litteraly if there was any)

yes and ill let you suggest that one to her miss sheep. althrough an idea i have had for a while. im gonna see how many more hatch first and go from there. Just thinking your fish must be on its last legs... there's one new home for them

I'll suggest the moving out. u suggest the rain forrest and see who she screams at first, lmao.. plus i can run away back to mum if she tells me off and only see her a few times a fornight... so ner....
garcia and bob are not on last legs they have none!!! ner ner
how ever mum is gettin a new tank as soon as the carpets and sofa have been replaced (this week)...... theres a q for her!!
