It would need to be Skoda as they need the VAS system and of course the firmware to perform the upgrade.

If you'd like to PM me your chassis number I can tell you if you need it.

It's not entirely something you can approach your dealer about as ordinarily you wouldn't know it was needed.

It's not good news - You need it.

On the plus side it will mean that you have a known 'clean' software prior to mapping.

Damo i know you had bad service last time from the said dealer but just play dumb and say that your mate has MK2 and his ECU needed doing so your just checking if yours needs doing
