Default New Revo dealer - Glasgow, Scotland

Hi guys, just a quick introductory post to let you know that our company, Drivers, are now Scotlands second REVO dealer. We are based in Glasgow and our phone number is 0141 3325800. Ask for either myself (Bill) or Neil.

For those of you not sure about the product I can assure you that you will not be disappointed. I have had my own Ibiza PD130 REVO'd and the difference is amazing!

Myself & Neil will be posting regularly so if you have any questions just post them up or give us a call.

Hi Kev.

Hi Stan, Revo is, in my opinion, THE best performance software available for VAG cars.

Neil had a tuning box on his old Ibiza and when he changed to Revo the difference was instantly noticeable. More power & torque and the car felt far more responsive.

Revo is basically a performance software program which is loaded onto the original ecu through the OBD port. It does not require any soldering or tampering with the ecu and is undetectable by VW etc...

Price varies depending on which engine you have but is typically £499 + Vat

Is the re-map totally undetectable ??? It is my understanding that no re map is undetectable from the dealers interogation...if i am proved wrong however, i will convey my applogies as well as placing an order to have my octy re-mapped....

Still want the remainder of my 3 year warranty...

Our software is undetectable to the main dealers Diagnostic software and we have not had a situation to date where a VAG dealer has been able to detect the software in a customers car. Also there is the possibility of switching the software off if you buy the optional SPS1 which will make things harder still for the dealer concerned.

It would be possible to find the software but Extremely Difficult.

The Fabia will go from 130 hp to around 170 hp and from 230 ft/lb to 280 ft/lb. Fitting the software will take around 30-40 mins once the dealer has checked for fault codes and made sure everything is working as it should.

Much loss on the economy front? Both in fuel and clutch wear?

My Revo'd PD150 still does 55mpg on a run and 45mpg when I'm giving it large, no issues with the clutch, the car is just over two years old and was Revo'd two months after I took delivery.

However if you constantly do traffic light grands prix, I suppose both fuel and clutch will suffer. But they're likely to do the same Revo'd or not.

My revo'd Ibiza PD130 returns about the same mpgas your Fabia Mike, however if I'm in a low gear at low revs and floor it, I'm starting to get horrendous slippage.

Loads of torque + low revs + heavy right foot = knackered clutch

Once I've got my JBS uprated number I'll be happy

Bill, I try to avoid low gear and speed where I'm putting the max torque through the clutch, 300ft lb will spin the tyres all the way up to 40mph in the dry if you let it.

I tend to do most of my big acceleration from 40 upwards, mainly on fast road conditions mainly in 4th to 6th. You'll need to be looking at an uprated clutch to handle the traffic light grands prix situations and new tyres every few thousand miles.
