SPS1 is an old switch that allows you to switch between Stock and Performance mode.
Select is a newer switch that has the same functionality as the old SPS2: on a diesel car is will let you switch between Stock and Performance mode. On a petrol car it lets you switch between stock, perf 1 and 2 (95 and 98ron defaults) and has anti-theft mode.
The Select works with everything we do, the SPS1 works on everything up to new 2.0TFSI cars.
Hope this helps

Manic day that involves a birthday party for my nipper (taking a load of kids swimming then Kentucky Fried Rat), collecting my elderly dad so he can watch the rugby then off to a wedding this evening. About 250 miles in all I expect.

I'm getting my Briskoda fix while I can
