Car: Black Octavia (280)
Default Stage II Requirements

Shamelessly copied from SCN but useful information nevertheless.

Stage 2 Hardware Requirements

For 1.8T Transverse. Golf/Jetta/Bora/Octavia/A3/S3/TT/Leon/Ibiza, etc

Required:
4 bar Fuel Pressure regulator (stock is 3 bar)
Turbo back exhaust with testpipe or highflow catalytic convertor (2.5"-3.0" diameter exhaust recommended)

Recommended:
Cold Air intake (from stock MAF to front of car)
Turbo inlet pipe (Samco turbo inlet hose)
Front-mounted Intercooler (This is a BIG improvement for all cars)

For 1.8T Longitudinal. Audi B6 A4. (No fuel pressure regulator on fuel rail)

Required:
225TT/S3 injectors or Bosch EV12 style 380cc(@3bar) alternative
Full cat-back performance exhaust
Testpipe or highflow catalytic convertor

Recommended:
Front-mounted Intercooler (The intercooler is a requirement if customer wants maximum boost)
Cold Air intake
Turbo inlet pipe (Samco or Neuspeed inlet hose)

For 2.0T FSI Transverse. Golf/Jetta/Passat/A3/Leon/OctaviaII, etc

Required:
Turbo back exhaust with testpipe or highflow catalytic convertor (2.5"-3.0" diameter exhaust recommended)

Recommended:
Cold Air intake (from turbo inlet pipe to front of car, Intake should replace factory airbox for best gains), Uprated fuel pump.

For 2.0T FSI Longitudinal. Audi A4/A6

Required:
Full cat-back performance exhaust
Testpipe or highflow catalytic convertor

Recommended:
Front-mounted Intercooler
Cold Air Intake (if available)
Uprated fuel pump

Notes:
bear in mind that stage 2 isn't always going to be more aggressive than stage 1, in most cases it's more progressive as it allows for the increase spool up due to the more efficient airflow from the uprated components.
We would always recommend using an SPS3 or Select Plus with stage 2 as if you want the best out of the car it needs to be set up to suit the conditions/fuel that you're in/running.
Stage 2 usually gives a slightly wider range of adjustment on timing than stage 1. Boost adjustment isn't normally a different range but is quite often (depending on the car) a different request curve from stage1.
LCR stage 2 has a more progressive throttle than stage1 and stock cars.
We don't recomend handling/braking/etc. mods in the above, but it should go without saying; you get as good if not better gains in drivability from uprating brakes, suspension, mounts, ARBs, etc. as you do with 'power' related parts.
