Why can't my car get Revo'd?

I have been trying to get my car Revo'd the last 2 nights, with no joy. Both times corrupt data

A bit peeved as I have paid extra for my Insurance

So where is the problem?

We are a REVO dealer in Essex. What car do you have? Has it been mapped/chipped before?

Is it possible that you've had a REVO or APR trial on before??

I would suggest you ask a dealer to flash it was genuine Skoda code and try again.

Had the same problem in the past,tried to get REVO on but it couldn't communicate so ecu was removed and connected directly but still no joy,ecu was then opened and a superchip was found which i didn't know about as i'd bought the car used,this was replaced wit a standard chip then re mappped,all is well

No previous maps,
its a 2L tdi octavia, all genuine.
same map wouldn't go on dealers golf 2L tdi

has it got an aftermarket radio or handsfree kit? as these can sometimes cause problems with communicating with the car? it sounds strange that it doesn't work on another car though,maybe theres a problem with the equipment used to map it

yeah heard that too, loads of posts about one of the wires in the headunit putting out voltage through the ODB port. I'd imagine a good tunner would spot this.

What have they said?

It's nothing to do with your car, the dealer was given a new style programmer with corrupt data on it so they couldn't flash anything. I've fixed this today and they'll get it back tomorrow!

It's good to hear that there is nothing wrong with the map or OBD remapping as such.
