| Hi all, I am going on holiday soon and need an irrigation system setting up for my beloved tomatoes in the greenhouse. I have seen a few so called drip systems and this one would be long enough IRRIGATION SYSTEM,drip watering kit- MASSIVE 140+ ITEMS on eBay, also Watering Equipment, Hand Tools Equipment, Garden Plants, Home Garden (end time 14-Jun-08 21:45:00 BST) It connects to the tap so my question is would i need a timer or can this be left on all the time i am way?

| If its on a tap you would have to leave the tap open slightly to keep it running I cant see any need in using a timer due to the system working on a low amount of constant water Last edited by okeh; 13-06-2008 at 22:16. |

| I have a sprinkler system. Its on a timer cost 30 quid from b&q for the timer, hose and various different sprinkler bits. works a treat. You just fasten to the tap and leave the tap open, just set it to come on whenever. |
