| Bereavement My Nana passed away last night, Feeling rather numb at the moment, Hard to explain. She was diagnosed with advanced lung cancer nearly six weeks ago. Smoked since she was 14! Not had a close family member pass since my grandad 18 years ago. Obviously it's inevitable and comes to all of us but you still cant prepare yourself for it. Sorry for my ramblings.

| Re: Bereavement Sorry to hear that, my Nan died over twenty years go whilst really young from an undiagnosed cancer. Still miss her lots now even though I wasnt very old when she died. Thing is to talk to your family, remember the good times and dont feel awkward about talking about her. I felt like I couldnt talk about my nan for a long time as I thought it would upset my Mum. But doing that I think is a shame, almost like forgetting them. |
