At last! I start work tomorrow!!!

Hey guys... well after moving house and having a month off i then became ill and had to have some minor surgery... and havn't been able to start work for a further 2 weeks... well at last i start work tomorrow morning!!!

Will be working for Top Line travel who operate the open-top York city-sightseeing tours... should be fun!!

Quick Phil, there is still time to quit and look elsewhere.

Change of plans!!

Start date has moved to next monday now! lol

At least i've got a start date and have told them i can't work next weekend (camping trip)!

Yes i will be driving... and i did know that they have just been bought out i was told that and that also meant a pay rise before i even started work!! lol

There could be a "blind-eye" discount... who knows!

So if any of you are in york and see a huge convertible bus charging towards you with horn blaring and lights flashing... you'll know who it is!! hehe

Lol... i've often thought of some of those round "B" Briskoda stickers to stick onto the back of the buses... but they probably wouldn't go un-noticed unfortunately!

Slightly envious - haven't been in a bus driver's seat for ages...

My license is due for renewal (health certificate neededevery 10 years) and maybe I ought to get in touch with a driving school and pay for an hour or two to refresh my skills as well

Good luck - hope the tourists behave! Otherwise remember the wisdom of the bin lorry drivers - driving one of those you don't have to speak with the cr@p
