I'm interested in buying Skoda Roomster 1.4 gasoline and I'd like to know if the "real" fuel consumption match the one declaraed from Skoda

I don't have the 1.4 so can't comment directely but I do have the 1.6 and I find Skoda's claim's to be accurate on that.

Well, it'd be the first time ever if 'real life' figures matched the 'official' ones!

Just hammered up to Chatham from Southampton and back. Cruised at indicated 70-75mph whenever possible on the way up, and returned 53mpg. Got 50 mpg on the way back, from which you may draw your own conclusions.

This was my first longish run in my month-old Roomster, and I'm VERY pleased with those consumption figures.

I'm satisfied with my car's fuel consuming. I get better averages than factory data.
