PD 160 Intake on Roomster .....

Yes, it fit's.

I got one off a forum member and just popped it onto the Roomy now and took it for a good drive (well did a before and after) and the fit is perfect and just like the Fabia vRS's it works.

Not big horsepower gains or anything silly, but it does help the low speed response and with my "tweak" it certainly helps it hold onto it's power to the upper reaches of it's rev range.

So, whilst it's not as cheap as it was, it's still a fairly cost effective mod that in combination with a good panel filter, may give you an extra pony or two, but definately imnproves the throttle response and "driveability" of the Roomy. On my less than scientific road test it was a difference you could detect rather than a placebo, and in a bit I'm off to log it in vag-com ... just for fun.

PS, it's a facially challenged tall mini mpv, but does anyone else get the same cheesy grin I seem to get when driving theirs? The last time I had this much fun on 4 wheels was with my Mk2 Octy vRS ....... as tony the tiger would say ........they're greeeeeat!!!

Thumbs up Re: PD 160 Intake on Roomster .....

Nice addition! Yet couldn't you've taken advantage of its benefits more fully if you'd done it before the remap?

I am slightly regreting letting all my Furby upgrades go now including the intake. I am not paying £75 quid for one this time round. I don't get any smoke on the box (Or very little) anyhow

If I hadn't I would be trying the 312 brakes too. Not that it needs them, but if they where there.....
