Default Roomster vs Octy in the tunnel.

Hi

Well its my understanding that the " Roomster" may actually live up to its name in one department anyway. To explain, we own a Octavia 4x4 Amb estate 07 LHD, and recently my wife had to take a colleague with her on a business trip. The male colleague however is a little on the large size, weighing 140klo and has difficulties driving many estates, so he was very pleased to be offered the chance to drive on some of the long motorway trip. Well the seat was fine, steering of course had its adjustments, but what spoiled the occasion was the lack of leg room. Legroom in the width that is , as you have to understand this fine fellow, has considerably thick legs to match his very large paunch etc. His legs, simply just banged together every km they were subjected to the Octavia's ample peddle tunnel. "Its the same old story he said !!!" only the Roomster has the correct width for my proportions." !! Looks like its a Roomster I must buy, now I have tried all the makes and models. So people !! what is the width of the tunnel in the Roomster, is it larger than the Octy estate ??? Our colleague thinks so !!!
