| Fantastic 1 owner Skoda 130L 5 speed ONLY 1,700 miles on eBay, also, Other Classic Cars, Classic Cars, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 21-Jun-08 15:30:44 BST) Just look at this car, its a real gem.If I remember right, it was offered for sale last year.It really is in time-warp condition, and in an attractive Sky Blue colour too.![]() There is also a 130 LSE thats got a years MOT on it too on ebay: 1988 SKODA 130 LSE BROWN on eBay, also, Skoda, Cars, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 17-Jun-08 19:39:17 BST) Needs a bit of bodywork and the wheels need a refurb, but still a desirable model being a 130LSE, and if refurbed to a good standard, can't see why it shouldn't reach 4 figures come resale time. SKODA S110 S SERIES on eBay, also, Skoda, Cars, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 18-Jun-08 18:06:25 BST) S110L, Left hooker on Czech plates, but still rare nonetheless.Needs work but a great classic. ![]() |

| Tax will be pre march 2001 under 1.6 litres PLG which is currently £120 12 months, but no doubt will be £125 or £130 in April 09 |

| Looks clean, but it will still need a full overhaul if it has not yet been done - brake cylinders, carb, head gasket (preventative at least) and then it will be a great car. However WOW look at the price already!Ian |

I know what you mean - I dont think I'd trust those original Skoda hose clips! ![]() Mind you, the prices are rising sharply on them now, and I'd place a bet that your 105 LUX wouldn't be far off £1200 worth and rising judging by the piccies you posted in the MOT thread Does anybody know whats happened to that delta green 120L that Graham Boarer was selling last year with only 1,000 or so miles on it?

It drove very well indeed when I had it, but the wipers didn't park [doesn't really matter]. Because it has done a lot of miles it was generally a bit rough round the edges and rattled and squeaked a bit, but to me that just made it even more characterful! One of the sills was original, the other has been patched and I had a small amount of welding done to the N/s floor a couple of years ago. I regret selling it TBH, it was one of those cars that was awful to look at, but was unbreakable. Buy it mate..you'll love it! ![]()

| Well, the 130L was bid to £2450 but didnt meet reserve. The only thing I would find daunting about spending that sort of money on a rear engined skoda is the fact that by driving it, I'd be adding to the low mileage and thus de-valuing its original appeal of a low mileage.By paying that sort of money, its the sort of car you keep only for shows and trailer it to them, else you will end up losing a fair chunk of your purchase costs should you ever wish to sell. But then, you dont get the enjoyment of driving it much.Swings and roundabouts I suppose. |

| Yeah see what you mean. Most of the car buying population will be interested in getting a car to drive. I'd pay a little more to drive something unique and low mileage, but I couldn't be persuaded to part with quite as much as £2450. Surprised the reserve was higher than that - have to wonder what it was. |

Personally, if I was spending upwards of £1500 on a Skoda for everyday use, it would be an early Fabia or Octavia that my money would be spent on due to the comfort and more modern road manners.

| Oh well, its re-listed, see what it reaches this time around. To me, it has very limited appeal - if you buy it and use it regularly, its going to detract from its uniqueness, thus de-valuing it.Its really a die-hard rear engined fans car who wants the ultimate rear engined Skoda and has the sort of money spare it will probably command. |
