| Hi All I am looking into getting another Skoda Rally Car. Some of the people may know the history of my previous Skoda rally car, it was C170BYR an Estelle built by Skoda GB that by the time that I had bought it, it was fitted with lots of 130lr bits (straight cut box, lsd, split caliper rear discs and more than I can remember). Any how I am looking at an ex Favorite or Falicia Chalenge car, but want to fit a much faster engine. The one that I had built for the estelle was based on a 136 engine with big valve head, Total seal piston rings, Knife edged crank, twin 40 webbers, and a very nice cam that was for a 130lr as far as I know. Who still makes a decent cam for the Skoda Engines if any one??? My old car had made 101 bhp at the wheels at 7600 rpm and would rev to 8000 rpm I think that this fitted into a lighter FWD would make a good car, or maybe I should just buy my old car back??? You can find pics of my previous car at SMT MOTORSPORT - Home What do you think Many Thanks Simon Last edited by mantamad; 09-01-2008 at 01:31. |

| Yes it does and it lives a couple of miles away from me. It hasnt been used for about 4 years so not sure on what state its in I have decieded that I will be buying it back again as soon as I get the money sorted. The plans are to run it on Bike Carbs and use an Electric Water Pump to try and over come the Head Gasket problems. I allways regreted the day that I sold it and know that I should have stuck with it. So all I can say is watch this space If any one knows any of the history of this car I would be very interested in hearing from you. Simon
