Its done!! Looked at the car and bodily its in great shape!! Mis-informed as the car has sat for 4 years but survived remarkably well.Mileage is correct at a shade over 20,000 and the motor can be turned by hand..Clutch problem to sort but thats no big thing..It has a cosmetic scuff down the N/S which needs sorting but I need to get the car home and stick a fresh battery and fuel in and see if we can coax some life out of the old girl ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Not sure if mark is having second thoughts about selling in this Pic ,but he did the decent thing and took my folding beer tokens ![]() ![]()

Nice one! You'll soon enough want to change that 105 up to something pokier, though - it's super-gutless! I once had a 5-speed 105 (by accident - only time in my life I got done buying a second-hand car) and with just me and one passenger it would be in 3rd gear up slopes on motorways. Looks as if you've got a great body on her.

Thank you Mr Black!..the body condition was a real pleaser when I started to poke around in the usual problem places...Have read many reports on the little 105,s lack of grunt...Given the engines low mileage I have to give it a chance to prove itself but I am looking grab maybe a Favourit or felicia when one comes along with the intention of liberating the engine for the old girl if she turns out to be a wheezer up the hills ![]()
