Scottish Vag Rural Meet 11/12/2007

Just taken this info from the previous post regarding the rural meet and updated the info.

Info:
Countryside Inn
Penicuik
Midlothian
EH26 0NX

Directions:
From Hillend Ski Slope to the Countyside Inn, (to get to Hillend, take the lothian burn junction off the City Bypass and turn right to go over the bypass and on to the A702 which will bring you upto an Esso garage on your left and 100yards further down is the entrance to Hillend.)

Another 100yards there is a nasty confusing junction, take the middle road which branches off to the left, it should be signposted for 'Roslin',etc

Continue on this road till you approach a roundabout, take the 2nd exit signposted 'Penicuik',etc

A big stupid massive roundabout will come up,take the 3rd exit

Now you should be able to see the Pub, take the 1st right and thats you there.

OR
Head for Straiton, A701 to the famous Ikea and just stay on that road untill you approach big stupid massive roundabout

I was knackered after geting up at 4.30am to drive down to Southport and back (including a 4.5 hour meeting)

Was good to see you guys there. Didnt know who who you where though Mike, now I do. Couldnt get a decent pic of your dark car in the light, just looks like you brung a set of wheels .


The tripod really makes a difference on the quality of shots, as you can see i never used it for this one.


Nearly brung the missus fabia but she decided she wanted to go out at the last miute so came in my own car


Im not back at work till next friday so gonna try and get gearbox mounts and the idling problems sorted on mine. Also promised id give the fabia the full works with the claybar etc, FFS its harder work being off.
