I've booked my accommodation with a cousin up in the south leics area, so shall be pootling down from there. Same for TRAX. I'll be going A6 to Harborough, then the A road to Northampton and wherever the sat nav dictates.

I am coming up with the some of the Seat boys, which means that I slightly dictated by what time they want to arrvie.

As they are meeting people as well it should work out time wise. I will let you know other wise.

i booked my hotel down there 4 months ago, SWMBO and myself, we are heading down on the friday and coming home on the monday, my car is in with the ScottishVAG club stand, there will be a few Skoda's attending from here too, (hopefully).
good excuse for a weekend away.

most of the lads and lassies are camping at the site.

I believe it is. I've already got it saved to try and find on the Sat morning,. Not sure where the actual event is though - not researched that.

edit: I have now "Overstone Park" - meeting there is a little like driving past the place for me, but I'll do it so we can all convoy in together. 8am there it is. I assume that's to "leave" at 8am? So get there for 7:50?

I just saw that the weekend price for E38 is £15. Would that be the price for the Saturday only as well?

Yep OK then buddy we will meet at the Premier Travel Inn at 7.50am and head down the road and it literally is just down the road.

I am pretty confident that it is £15 for Saturday and Sunday so if your just going on Saturday then it's £15.

Edition 38 weather is looking totally shocking from what I can tell. Is it going to be worth going if its just peeing down all day? Only upside is TRAX weather appears to be a little bit better....

It will be better on Sunday, but that's the day for TRAX. busy weekend for me. It really is looking like a total washout though - som serious rain coming across the whole south/midlands that day, and thankfully buggering off for Sunday from what I can tell.

Damn. It seems my TRAX tickets are locked in a postal dispute down here, and there's a slim chance I might have to hang around in Devon to get them.

Going to ring them first thing tomorrow, but at the moment it's looking more and more likely my whole bloody weekend will go down the pan.....
