Right - Have got the go ahead to get the stand underway.

At the moment, the only way to book is to phone up Autometrix and pay over the phone using a credit card. Last year the money was not taken until the end of May, and I suspect the same will apply again.

I've not had confirmation of prices yet, but last year was £25 to show your car for the whole weekend (which is what I'll be doing) and £14 for just one of the days. There should be camping nearby, but hotels are better usually. I'll be staying with relations in the area.

Eventually the online booking facility will be available, but booking over the phone is hassle free.

Some of the finest VAG cars in the country should be there, and don't forget about the 1/4 mile strip, and the show & shine (which I hope to enter this year too) Tickets are bought on the day for the drag strip - cheap too.

Ill be coming in the furby one of the two days not sure which one ( I brought my new SE last year sadly its got a few more chips since then sob), will confirm when I get booked

I might be up for this. I will be going with a mate with a TT anyway as we always do but may be tempted to sprint the VRs too this year

I'll know more after holiday in a couple of weeks.

More the merrier. Still seems that I'm the only one. We should really be bigging up Skoda at this as its a pretty VW dominated event, and being centrally located in the UK should be fairly easy for most members to get to.

Suspect same price as to show - £15 for one day. but not sure. Might be cheaper to pre-buy tickets in advance. I know TRAX is £20 to just go and spectate.

Autometrix send them direct to you which saves me getting involves greatly like I do for TRAX.

I wish TRAX would do the same thing to be honest.

So how do you request them then? When you buy the tickets?

Ring them up.

It all comes together. Just ensure "BRISKODA.net" is mentioned when doing so.

It's quite good as although you give card details, they don't charge it until a couple of weeks before the show, and send the tickets out then too (to avoid people losing them in the time gap

)

I will def be going but might get my ticket on the day as things always seem to pop up when i pre book. If i do just turn up can i go on the clubstand or is that just if you pre book?

To get on the clubstand, I'm pretty sure you need to book in advance - I think is only because they need to keep track on the number of cars to give each stand the right amount of space to sit on.

I suspect paying on the day only grants you access to joe public carpark
