hi guys and gals,
just wondered if santa pod as got a stand for vrs this year(the all weekender) think its august if im not mistaken? and is their any1 local to staffs area who is goin, to hook up with. as i was an astra driver lastime i went ha ha. thanx.

In fact do brisky do any offical meets at the pod?

So long as they extend the welcome to other VAG cars unlike the bug jam folks.

Depends on what you are looking for - if you want to run the Strip then the best day to go is the VAG GTI Festival on the the 6th July

I organised a Brisky stand there last year and as it is the same day as the British GP there is a normally smaller overall turnout than for other VAG days. This means that you get far more 'runs' for your £20 strip fee - I managed 9 runs before lunch.

I have not organised a stand this year as I am not sure I can make it - too many variables this year to know this early. But if anyone wants to book a stand it costs nothing, just a phone call to the organiser on 01279 72 52 52 gets you a club parking area on the hard next to the strip.

I booked a 15 car stand last year even though only about 12 actually came but many ran the strip that day and all were faster than my standard PD140

Not a bad day out if you want to run the strip though there were fewer 'trade' stands than at the April GTI day - probably because of the GP conflict.

it aint all about the strip but its its a cracking laugh campin all weekend avin booze barbys etc........ just wondered if any briskodians fancy meetin up and setting up camp aswell as a stand.
