Thanks - they want £95 on the day or £75 for advanced bookings - but you can't book in advance 'cos the office has been closed since before Christmas!

Default 'Donner' Kebab please - with fries and Porsche's

Well got to Donington - they said it would pour all day - and it did. Spray, lashing rain, loads of wannabee's and two Skuds - namely me and TaviaRS. There were complaints from the big boys about these two cars with green badges on that kept passing Scooby's and 911 Turbos!!!!

More details later - thought the rain would ruin the day - but with ASR it actually levelled the playing field - so apart from 4x4 Cossie's etc - us Skuds were ORSUM.

Catch ya later.......

S Man

my mate in his Type R could not get over the ASR on the RS - whilst we were matched on straightline speed - I was all over him at the corners - where we were told NOT to pass

He he!

Oh yes, I had fun! You may not have the legs of your friends Civic, but I do. He wouldn't let me by, probably because he thought it was you - not fair!

Yes, there were some quick motors there, but we right up with most of them. The only ones I trouble with were Mellow in his (or more correctly Gaz's) Evo RS Sprint, 2 of the 911's, one STI scoob, Mike Rainbird in his Escort and the other Escort Cossie, oh and the 911 RSR. Had fun playing with the Skyline for a while, in the end brute force won

Had a minor altercation with the green Mini Cooper challenge car. I was coming up to a corner, there was another car there so I backed off, obeying the rules. The Mini was then able to catch me, he started flashing his lights at me. When the corner ended I went to overtake the car in front on the left, as I moved over to overtake, the muppet in the Mini went up my right, saw the other car and cut across me I then proceeded to drive behind him at a distance of about 6" at times, but would he move over? NO! So I started really harassing him. Shame he didn't let me by, ended up with him spinning out and me driving by making a certain hand gesture at him

More busy than I have ever seen it and I thought track etiquette was bad. People were not easing off to facilitate passing, indicating was rare, all of which led to bunching and unless you bullied people they would not move over.

Still a great day out, next one at that price is in Feb. I'll post up details when I get them.

Oh and nice to meet you at long last.

Default What about the vid?

If it comes out OK - send me the tape and I'll do a copy on VHS tape for anyone who wants to see what it's like driving round Donners in a waterfall!!

I'll charge postage only - hows that for an intro to www.proactivevideo.co.uk ??

I enjoyed it - but the rain and viz made it tiring. The car that will make me lose sleep tonight was a perishing 15 year old Vauxhall Chevette (shove-it) - neither me nor my mates Type R could pass it. He was all over the road, rear end hanging out and on the straight bits he was still out running us - wot the 'eck did he have under the hood??

Anyway - I think I 'Skudded' enough well expensive metal out there today - so Yee Haa to the RS

Chris, sorry about that

Its just that the tape is not that good and the Mrs has recorded over part of it at a party

I'll dig out what is salvagable and whack it on the web, I'll then give you the url, failling that, expect a cd end of next week.
