The track session should not be seen as daunting. It's not a trackday - just a 15 minute blast around the track. Lots of run-off, much of it grass, should it go a bit wrong. But don't drive like a twit, and you shouldn't go off.

You do need a helmet though.

Have added that to the trackday blurb in the opening post. I personally cannot reserve helmets via the clubstand booking though.

Was just asking was it really required as opposed to having a go as when I signed on today the whole of the meets section was trax.
