It always had the small bumpers though, they are standard. ![]() It had done 101k when I sold it, and I had replaced the heater matrix, full service, cambelt, waterpump, oil pump, loads of gaskets etc... If someone is looking for a fairly standard Mk2 GTI with low mileage, then this one is as honest as they come. | |

| It looks like it's having a bit of a personality crisis, the contrast between the huge ch@v exhaust and the steel wheels gives a very confusing message. Why oh why would you replace 2 working wipers with one that covers less screen area? Such is fashion, I suppose ![]() At least the dice could go out of the window onto the current owner's drive as you drive away ![]()

| If I had it back (trust me, I'm sorely tempted), the exhaust and wipers would be going back to standard items... I see hes changed the standard small bumpers for GL items with chrome inserts - I'd certainly be asking for the originals back... Just to add, it had a new clutch at 100k too. My grandad owned it from 1990 onwards, and it was one owner before that! Then my brother had it, then me. I put the tinted lights on just before it sold... Some photos the day I picked it up! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
