Im considering selling my Island Green Mk II Octavia 2.0TDi Elegance - 140HP.

Its a 54 plate first registered in October 2004.

I'm the second owner and have had it since Sep 2006 - prior to that it was owned by Skoda UK.

Mileage is approximately 56k - dealer services at 17463 and 38192 miles.

Standard Elegance spec includes....

• Anti-lock brakes
• Dual zone climate control
• Driver, passenger and front side airbags
• Alloy wheels
• Cruise control
• Electric / heated door mirrors
• Immobiliser / alarm
• Front fog lights
• Headlamp washers
• Split / folding rear seats

• 6 CD Autochanger

Pictures shown with 17" Audi alloys but car will be put back on standard wheels prior to sale.

This car has been lovingly looked after - hours and hours have been spent on washing and detailing.

Extras include...

• Sill protectors with stainless inserts
• Boot lip spoiler - colour coded
• Silver vRS style dash facia surround
• Dubmeister pressed metal show plates

I want to be as honest as I can be, so here are the bad points

• A few stonechips as you would expect from a car of this age / mileage
• A service is due in about 1000 miles - price reflects this

Car can be viewed where I live near Bury, Lancashire or where I work in Thirsk, North Yorkshire (or anywhere in between).

Two quick answers

1. See pic of dash surround below (found on Briskoda - not my actual car)

2. The number plate surrounds were one of the first couple of pairs that Quentin had made up, so I'm kind of attached to them and would prefer to hang onto them. I guess I'm not going to lose a sale over them though, so I'm sure we could come to some agreement.

I have both standard plates and the Dubmeister pressed metal ones (shown on the pics above) that will be sold with the car.

OK - offers (and cash) over £7,750 by Thursday or it will be traded in at the dealers.

I know it needs a service and I guess at 56k its getting close to cambelt time, but I thought it was priced to take this into account.

Never mind - I've done a deal so the new toy will be revealed soon.
