| Yup its a rear wheel drive with a mighty one litre engine! they are great to drive. I like the looks too. As they are so rare they don't half turn heads, when i took it to the garage for its MOT the mechanics couldn't believe it they all had a nosey, one asked if he could take it for a little spin as he hadn't seen one for so long. |

| there's minimal rust, light corrosion on wheel arches, but its not bad at all. I can email a loads of pic to anyone interested showing all the arches under bonnet full interior the lot, this car is a lovely example. The only bit that detracts from its looks is the sun damage on the tops of the back seats but that wouldn't be hard to improve with a little bit of work. The car isn't taxed but has almost twelve month test on it and it runs very well |

| I know who had this car and what it is like too. Very very tidy, and we went miles in the damned thing! I would love it but no space as im building an autograss car. Hope TEX goes to a good home. It even has all the original dealer tax disc holder, window stickerf and numberplates, Cranes of ?? Gorgeous!

| Yup thats the one, Its cool that it has all the original little touches like that, I only bought it recently with the full intention of keeping it but my work circumstances changed which would mean using this car as a real workhorse and although I'm sure it would do it I don't want to put it through the intergalactic mileage, its cool you call it Tex as these things do have personality! |

| If the Skodas I'm currently restoring get to look like that then I'll be a very, very happy man indeed. Worth every penny.Incedentially my 120L5 is E reg and the numberplate ends in TEX.

Cranes of Marsham! Between Norwich and Aylsham in Norfolk, no longer a Skoda dealer (since the VW purge I guess).

| Just seen some sad news about this car on another international skoda forum, turns out head gasket may have blown and owner is going to scrap it if no takers!!!![]() Seems a real shame if no one can save it.Water mixing with oil etc, sounds like head gasket to me, but they are so easy to fix. Current owner will scrap if not rescued.4 months tax, 10 months MOT, excellent bodywork.Anyone here able to save such a great looking example? ![]() |
