What can I say about these guys...

They are excellent service providers, and have helped me keep my car the way it is today, almost 3 years since buying it. Every part of the car is loked over when they service it, and always keep their customers informed if any important changes are necessary. Their prices maybe a little bit higher than average (almost the same price as VW here), but when you look at the level of service they provide, you overlook the pricing.

Not only are they the distributors for Skoda Auto in the U.A.E., they are also the distributors of Falken Tyres in the region. And unlike their spare parts, they offer their tyres at UNBELIEVABLE prices.

They are an outstanding company, and I hope nothing in anyway gets in the way of how they deal with their customers EVER. A lot of dealers look to only satisfy themselves in the business...Autostar ensure their customers are happy before they are.

I got the car and it didnt have warranty, 2 days later i heared some strange sounds comin from the wheels and a small electricity problem, they promised me that they're goin to fix it for free.. that's a great service..

And yet again I would like to post another review on Autostar Trading's services.

Having received my car back after servicing recently with 120,000kms on the clock, the car started behaving oddly on my way home. I contacted Autostar and informed them that my car was breaking down on me. Upon informing them I was taking it home and leaving it there, Raja, the service manager, courteously offered for me to come back and take the courtesy car I was using so I wouldn't be without a car, and offered to send some techs down outside my place to have a look at the problem there and then, and then SHOULD the problem not be rectifiable there, they would call in their recovery service which they would cover themselves.

The fact that I wanted the car back the following day, plus the fact that Raja had provided me with great service by offering me a courtesy car and free recovery to the workshop was enough for me to just pay for the recovery service myself to get my car fixed ASAP.

Autostar, I'm very happy with your services. Thank you and keep Raja happy, he's one guy who really makes Skoda servicing in the UAE unique along with your friendly batch of mechanics.

I called them from Bahrain asking about the cost of a Fabia vRS. I was told that they were happy to order one for me, no problem - seemed very efficient.

The reason I didn't go with them was the price quoted about Dhs 110,000 compared to what the dealer here was asking (Dhs 58,000).

Milton, Your right, Raja is really an excellent guy.. He's the one who got my car fixed once i bought it from them and gave it bak ASAP when the other guys were tellin me different dats every now n then.. I hated them earlier becoz of Mr. Talal hes really a big liar, Raja is really honest and very helpful

i am new to the skoda family and wanted to know if there are any places you can recomend in dubai or sharjah to mock up the octavia 2003 that i have.

is there a certified or known shop in this area that has accessories for the car that you know of?

Hi all Skoda owners, Just to add my thanks to raja and his team for fixing the missfire on my red 2.0 litre fabia. It went onto 3 cylinders and after a lot trying would not run smoothly. I called raja and went over on a flatbed for safety, his guys quickly plugged it in the diagnostics and yes 2 faults, missfire and number 2 plug lead fault. His mechanics did a great job, I changed all leads and replaced all plugs. The car went like new again superb service and hospitality! The cost only pounds 60! .... A really excellent service.
Mine is a red 2.0litre , 2003 and registered in 2004. with only 22K kms on the clock ...... a very underrated machine from Skoda.

Hi again, its me Ian.
Just to add another tale. I am so impressed with my 2.0 litre fabia, I managed after a lot of thinking etc, to try and get the last Skoda Fabia 2.0 that these great guys had in stock. After a couple of weeks and the sale of a red 2005 model, which I thought was the very last 2.0 litre, to my great surprise Helen told of a white 2.0 litre in Abu Dhabi, and soon after it arrived in their workshop, wow! In white with elegence trim in beige great alloys and really in superb condition. No sand no surface rust anywhere!... It was a 2006 car and brand new! So after a couple of minutes checking it over it was a done deal! Thanks to the Autostar guys for a great car again! Now I have the pleasure of driving "briskoda"..... The 2006 car is very different from the 2003, great performance and very nice looking on its 15" alloys and dunlop sport tyres.
Thanks to the sales team and again to the service team for getting the car ready. Really unbelievable support and service!

could you please give me some comments on the prices in bahrain versus dubai? I am an expatriot from bahrain who is looking for the latest skoda octavia model, i believe in bahrain it costs about 7.500,-BD. How much could it cost in dubai? Would it be difficlt to buy it there and bring it back to bahrain? does the Autostar Trading have any webpage? Thank you guys!
