vRS MAKES TRACKS TO THE GREAT OUTDOORS

Škoda vRS will be the headline sponsor of the Mountain Bike Arena at this year’s Ordnance Survey Outdoors Show where the M.A.D. (Mountain Bike Aerial Demonstration) team will be showcasing their newest, most exciting and dangerous tricks.
Visitors to the arena will have a unique chance to see some of the best bikes in the market, learn how to bike better and even have a go on a fantastic obstacle source. Alongside the bike arena will be the vRS stand, featuring the New Octavia vRS, the Fabia vRS and a number of bikes from the Skoda range.
The vRS range has been designed to appeal to those who demand practicality and excitement in one amazing package and includes the all new Octavia vRS; Skoda’s fastest-ever production car and winner of What Car’s? Best Hot Hatch for 2006. Powered by a state-of-the-art 2.0 TFSI engine with output of 200 bhp and 0-62 mph time of just 7.3 seconds, the new vRS combines outstanding driving pleasure with the Octaiva’s legendary equipment levels and carrying capacity.
The Ordnance Survey Outdoors Show is Europe’s largest outdoor event and will be held at the Birmingham NEC from 17th to 19th March 2006. The show, now in its fifth year, is expected to attract 50,000 visitors who will have the opportunity to experience a wide range of outdoors activities ranging from the British Bouldering Championship, mountain biking, canoeing and dive displays.
Škoda first manufactured bicycles in 1895 when the company was founded by Laurin & Klement and for the past two years, has been an official partner of the world famous Tour de France.
