Even if the £60 ticket is a fraction of the price of the veyron (the sun article), 3 penalty points are a quarter of the points needed to get a ban....

Makes up for all the times I've had to stick to 50 on the 27...

Come to think of it, isnt that a French registered Veyron, probably with a French driver with a French licence?

I would say the 3 points and £60 may well be speculation on the part of the Sun. It was on French plates so there is every chance it has a French owner/driver.

Really gutted I couldn't make this.
I wanted to come along, but Friday afternoon, I learnt I had to cancel my return flight and spent Saturday working in Paris

Did any of the briskodians who went to the ring recognise ring cars there? I don't recognise any porkers or ferrari plates...
