My standard one is quick (115mph+ up Bluebell Hill...in theory ) , but I'd like it quicker in gear and make my mate in his BMW 330i have to work hard to get past!!

It doesn't feel as quick as the Ibiza TDi Sport I used to have, but the gearing is different.

I may be late arriving as I have to got London on Friday for a meeting, provided I can get the 16:20 train out of London, I will be there around 7:30 pm

If you can get the Underground out to about Loughton (towards end of red line) I can pick you up anytime and give you a lift to the White Rabbit. Should save a bit of money on a train fare.

Em, Thanks for the lift offer I will graciously decline, as work are paying the train fare, and I would have difficulty getting home. Kathy is not keen on driving my car, its too big and has a clutch

Mine also has a clutch however it does not have a clutch pedal...
Problem is if I drive your car I forget to depress the pedal.
It is really easy to stall a diesel if you dont depress the clutch pedal
