Hopefuly we did'nt lose anyone because of the last minute changes but we did try and contact everyone we could think of and left a big note on a car that was left there.
Great night & I agree the pub was a brilliant find, the staff were also incredibly friendly & helpful, definately worth a revisit.

Thank you to all of you who made my first meet a pleasant and welcoming experience.

I enjoyed meeting the real people behind some of the names on here and a big thank you must go to Chris for letting me experience some of the 'changes' made to his car. I'm very tempted to do something similar to mine and if Makefish has his way, it's already penciled in a few weeks from now.

I'm sure I'll see some of you again soon.

Will arrange one for end of June begining July.

Any preferences on date, I thought either Friday 29th June or 6th July?

I was going to suggest the 22nd but then I remembered the Festival of Speed.
29th suits me I think.

29th would clash with the new forest meet which is on the 30th but has some people staying down at a camp site.

I would suggest 6th July

Not wanting to create problems for your meet Mark as I know you have put a lot of effort into this but would those coming down for the New Forest jaunt not fancy a Friday night meet up too?

Stick a post on the forest thread if you like .

Bearing in mind they are coming down from Yorkshire etc, with a 9:30 start the next day, I get the feeling they would want to get some sleep

I would doubt that I would make it, however I do know of a very nice pub that does nice food and excellent beer in soton. Of course being in soton is obviously a down side too
