Was a fun day out, that said it was good when 1) the sun came out every once in a while or 2) a power run was ongoing as there was a bit of heat from the cars then

i've seen an rs turbo blow a tyre and jump clean out of the rollers before, and it does a lot of damage!!!! nobody cares about a £200 rs turbo, but a £300k rolling road is an expensive bit of kit, that's why they spend so much time strapping the car down before a run

- it's just with the infamous video with loads of people on the car trying to hold it down in mind, I was quite interested to see what would happen

yeah i've seen people doing that too.... i'm buggered if i would sit on the wing of a car whilst it was running on the RR.

i should imagine any tuning firm with a rolling road would have the good sense to keep spectators at a safe distance

Noticed your car on the rollers bengie.... now i'm no mechnical genious but what was stopping RWD engaging and sending ur car flying forwards??

probably just popped the fuse for the haldex controller out??

they unplugged my haldex ecu and ran it FWD

got decent torque but because my ecu had been reset on the day it hadn't done its adaptaion business so wasn't running 100% i think, seemed to be flying by the time i was nearly home though

still happy with the result though

Here are a selection of my photos;

The last photo clearly shows everone waiting round to see if they were needed to hold the Desmobile down, but the rollers were sorted and it wasn't needed!

I will be frank, that was a brilliant day and thanks to Steve for sorting.

Thanks to Jim, Keith and Kate for running it! I will have no problems recommending JKM to anyone!
