Well... I can leave my car parked at work which is just down the road from South Mimms services, so who is going to offer to take me down to the meet and back to save me the diesel

You could get yourself to the M25/A3 junction, where there is a long lay-by on the slip road from the junction's roundabout onto the A3 southbound, for about 7:15 - 7:30 and join on the back of the convoy as is goes past!

We will be going M25/M3 to Winchester/Winnall for Brekkie, then its only half an hour to Pompey.

So if you waiting in the lay-by by the Wisley RHS Gardens, sorry, but you wont see us.

Sorry; forgot about your brekkie stop; had assumed you would take the shortest/quickest route of M25/A3.

Either way, I won't be coming down 'till later in the morning; I have to walk my dog first. Will be at JKM just before lunch.
