DPT newbie question

Hiya gents

recently bought a VRS Octavia Mk1 with a pile of Star Performance reciepts for various goodies. Amonst them is a bill for Direct Port Tuning. I've done a search and checked the SP website. I am assuming this means I can switch between standard and enhanced settings. But how?

I dont know who star use for thei remaps but im guessing its on all the time and cant be switched off unless you go back and get them to remove it for you

For some cars they have a 'switchable' remap option, this is usually more expensive but means you get a little module with three LEDs and a button on it. You can plug this in and switch between standard or remapped ECU programs.
If one of these didn't come with the car, then I imagine yours has been remapped without this option, or the module has been lost. You could contact Star to confirm...

"Direct Port Tuning" means the remap is done via the OBD port. Star do a switchable remap option where you get a black box which plugs into the OBD port so that you can switch between standard and modified. They also have a non-switchable option.

Star firstly had adjustments thru the cruize control before he change tuning firms 3-4 years ago. If cruize is fitted phone jim to double check how to activate
