Octavia vRS II chip & servicing

Popped in last week to Star with my boss (Brian with yellow VRS I) and I'm now tempted to spend cash on future tweaks!

Seen the remap listed on the Star website, are there any other bits and pieces (air filter kit etc.) that you'd recommend, or would they all do next to nothing in comparison with the remap?

What kind of difference to fuel figures are we talking about after the chip?

Also, car is only six months old from new with 6,000 miles on the clock. Age old question, but is warranty still covered if servicing is done outwith the dealer?

jim at star will sort you out with remap and servicing no worries,im from dunfermline area,give me a wave if u see me i have 53 reg black octy vrs,but spend most of my time in alex ferguson recovery truck,picking boy racers out fields lol

Cheers Dewaryboy. In a black 07 (on 04 plate) estate here with an "PAR" number plate and blacked out windows. Look out for the hearse lookalike ;-)

Did indeed, backstreet garage Christie motors in Dunfermline over the festive season.

Next stop Star for a remap and 10,000 mile service!
