Default 16" Fab vRS alloys on 1.4 comfort...

Well, finally got the wheels put on yesterday... makes a huge difference to how the car looks. Can't say I miss the Halford wheel trims that were on the 14"s!

Will take some piccies later - they really seem to fill the arches now. But first some more pointless driving around to bed the discs & pads in some more...

and thanks to my favourite (and only) sister for storing the new wheels, getting up early on her day off and picking me up from the dealers, looking after me all day, feeding me, taking me back to the garage in the afternoon to pick up the car, and storing the old wheels ...."

Looking very nice indeed!

One quick pointer though mate. Think you best get some locking wheel bolts!

Steve,

So sorry - must have misread your first post. Missed the bit that goes something like ...

.. "and thanks to my favourite (and only) sister for storing the new wheels, getting up early on her day off and picking me up from the dealers, looking after me all day, feeding me, taking me back to the garage in the afternoon to pick up the car, and storing the old wheels ...."

I noticed that bit. It is there in the first line. Written in invisible ink!

Got locking bolts, but they were the wrong type - off to Halfords in the morning to change them for slightly longer ones
