| As the title says really........ As both our cars are black pearl it is getting to be a real pain in the backend using white/coloured wax. I spend the following week or two finding more and more little sections of white residue etc........ Just wondered if there were any good clear waxes on the market that people use??? Cheers Dave.

| Not really sure Dave. I always used Meg's Gold Class when I had my black Furby. Don't remember there being any residue issue with it? If you haven't already, I'd have a look on Detailing World, see if there's any pointers you can pick up there. Feel free to post back with I'm findings, I'm sure fellow owners of the darker shades would be pleased to hear ![]() Steve

| I'm not sure about clear waxes..but I've used Megs Gold Class too...mainly because it leaves very little if any residue

| I think all waxes leave some residue although some are dustier than others. I would recommend Chemical Guy's XXX wax (£12) and also Collinite 476s (£16) for extra durability. Secret is always to apply waxes as thin as possible as this makes it easier to buff off residue.

| The TW clearvue stuff is pretty good, but it's only on par with other 'cheap' waxes such as turtlewax. Doesn't mark anything though.

| I use the Collinite stuff & it's soooo easy to use. Buffs straight off without leaving a residue or powder.

| Swissol Onyx (£39) is the best but for value Chemical Guy's XXX wax takes some beating |

| I use P21S, very easy to apply and wipe off. Leaves very little residue on plastics.
