Default Full Leather Interior - What fits?

I would like to upgrade the interior from my Octy vRS as the mesh inserts are a nightmare to keep clean (they don't mix well with a 15 month old baby ) and the fronts don't give enough support).

Does anyone know what will fit the Octy vRS? I have been looking on ebay and have seen ones from Golf MkIV's or Audi S3's. I realise that the door cards won't fit but am only concerned about the front and rear seats.

Thought about a re-trim but that may well be more expensive particulalry to get the fronts re-padded to offer recaro like support.

Cheers,

Darren

Apparently, Mk IV golf and S3 do fit straight on. I suspect the Leon CR too.

Yes i agree, EddyH will know better but i believe the Golf and S3 seats go straight in... more or less anyway. The R32 seats (which are very cool) go in fine also.

Gandalf
I and the rest of the octy 1 vrs owners can sympathise with your problems.
I only stood the problem so long and decided to go down the retrim line.
A local trimmer did a nice job of sripping the mesh out and replacing it with horizontal strips of red leather to match the car, as well as covering the door cards in red leather too....... All for £300ish.

While they had the seats out I also decided to get rid of the grey carpet too, so thats been replaced by a black one out of a L+K model.

Looks lots better..... and lots less cleaning too :o)

Right, we should if the advice given has worked, we should now have some pics for you to comment on.
I know the front bases have stretched slightly, but these will be tightened when I can get it back in to him.

Mattbeef - You would probably have to have a drive over and tell him what you want and haggle for a price on the work........ oh and make him promise you a definate finish date cos he's very laid back unless he pinned down to a specific date.
