Default Heater Control Illumination

Hi, my heater controls on my 2001 Octavia do not light up when the lights are on. Does any one know if this is an easy repair, bulb blown ? How do you gain accesss to it, I'm not that bothered about it, so if it is hard to do or very time consuming I will leave it as it is.
