Default It's about time a tried something else.

After using the Meguiars stuff (Gold Class shampoo & Quick Detailer spray), I decided to be a rebel & try some other cleaning products.

Had a browse on Serious Performance website & decided to go for some Prima products. Haven't really heard of them before but you never know until you try it, as they say!
So it's the Mystique auto wash & Slick detailing spray I've gone for. Oh, and some Poorboys world Wheel sealent for the TT Comps.
Ordered them on Monday & they arrived today.
Have to say these are the weirdest looking car cleaning products I have seen!
Check out the colour of these babies!!

Also got a Monster Fluffy microfibre towel to buff up the paintwork.

Will report back on how these products fair.

Have you tried Mr Jeeves miracle polish?
Well cheap and impressive results.

PB's is the dogs - my Comps have some of that lovely pink mess applied to them

Good choice on that front; not heard of the other stuff. Oh, and investigate the rest of the PB range if you want tubs and bottles of weird and wonderful coloured concoctions! They always smell ace too....

Yes, the Poorboys Wheel Sealant smells of cocoa butter!!

The Prima stuff smells of lemons/limes! They originate from the good ol' US of A.
I think Serious Performance are the only people to import it into the UK, but I could be wrong.

Polished Bliss also sell PB stuff - I am getting addicted to the smell of wheel sealant after applying 3 coats to my S3 rims

Will be applying a few coats this weekend to the TT Comps. The place smell like a tanning salon!

I know the Poorboys stuff it widely available but I've never seen the Prima stuff before.

I'm impressed with the PB wheel sealant. Applied a few coats tonight to the TT Comps & has brought the shine to another level.
Hopefully, it will repel the brake dust & other nasties for a while.

I have also come to the conclusion that this stuff is in fact strawberry Angel Delight!

I then put a coat of Collinite 476S on mine Jon! Should repel everything, for ages

Mine are still for sale everyone! See the level of care and consideration I've bestowed upon them?!

I've got the same wheel sealant. Now that I've solved the brake dust problem with wonder wheels I may actually get round to using it

It's lovely stuff isn't it! It'll really help with future cleaning, especially if you leave each coat overnight and do a good few layers if possible!

The Prima Slick is good stuff too (not tried the shampoo)

Yep, get it sorted, so as not to undo your hard work

Brake dust, especially when left to bake in, is the work of the devil

I've only tried it on one wheel and was shocked at how well it worked so I know I need to brave the weather and do it properly and then seal them up

Gave the car a wash with the Prima shampoo & then a once over with the detailing spray.

I am very impressed! The shine is deep & I've had quite a few admiring glances whislt out & about today.

I'll post some pics up later on.

OK, not the best of pics, as the lighting was cr@p yesterday:-

And here's one of the TT Comps (Which are now back on the car) after a few coats of PB wheel sealant:-
