| Any pics? :p Seriously though would be good to see a comparison between two cars, one with a normal wash/dry method, another that takes a whole day to clean.

A couple of hundred pounds worth of polishes, waxes etc. Loads of microfibre cloths. Two polishing machines and a roll of masking tape. In total it took us 10hours because I wanted the car to look perfect for the summer, which I'm still waiting for ![]() | |

| I use fairy liquid before I detail a car, both covering the car with it as foam and in the bucket. Removes most if not all of the old wax/fillers/contaminants on the paint surface.

| Tis very true but very crude way of doing it. Some cleaner fluid or even a clay bar will work just as well though and that will remove every last bit |

| A clay bar will only pick up particles from the surface, it won't remove old wax/sealant etc
