Default Marmite mod

Not going to say what I have done or how I have done it just yet, but do give me your opinions.

(Sorry about poor pic quality)

Also, I will post a link to another thread with some more info on when the opinions start off.

You can get wide-angle LEDs (e.g. from Maplin) which would give a less directional look. Or maybe the photos don't do it justice. Interesting, though. (Do they dim with the instruments?)

I tried some, but they didnt seem bright enough, and these give too much of a "Spot" to them - to be honest I dont like it myself but Ill see how it goes as it might grow on me. I might put some resistors in to dim them down slightly but yes, they do dim with the rest of the dash (or should do, I havnt checked yet!).

Looks ok, but I would have used a different color. The green all over could be to much.

I was going to give red a bash, but green looks better in the flesh on mine. The car is green, footwell lights are green, radio and everything else is green so there is nothing for it to match with if it were a different colour. Ill take some better pics tomorrow with my proper camera.

What have you done though? It looks like black with green in the middle|? And I can't see any Marmite anywhere, I was rather dissappointed If I'm truthful.

Lol, well I was considering using marmite to form a tight seal on the airvents to prevent whistleing!
Its LED's in the vent mate.
